We offer a range of classic driving bit styles, all sized appropriately for draft breeds, light horses, ponies, and teams—crafted from durable stainless steel (with some nickel-plated options) for strength, corrosion resistance, and a smooth finish in the horse's mouth:

• Butterfly Bits – Popular for their elegant cheek design and moderate leverage, available in 2-loop or 3-loop varieties. The butterfly cheeks provide balanced control and multiple rein positions, often with a medium port or mullen mouthpiece to encourage salivation and softness—ideal for starting horses or everyday driving.
• Liverpool Bits – The most traditional and versatile driving bit, featuring slotted cheeks (1–3 slots) for adjustable rein placement and varying degrees of leverage. A go-to choice for pairs, teams, and experienced drivers needing precise communication without excess severity.
• Military (Elbow) Bits – Also known as Military Elbow or reversible styles, with fixed or swivel cheeks set at a square angle for clear, direct action. Often straight-bar or low-port mouthpieces, these offer reliable control for seasoned driving horses and are favored for their simplicity and effectiveness in heavy work or parade use.
