Our Story

In 1978, George Knudslien had a simple realization: if a man can make shoes, he can certainly repair them. From that starting point with shoe repairs, George expanded into team harnesses, saddles, and a wide range of premium leather goods, building a respected business rooted in quality and skill.
In 1984, he moved the operation off the family farm and into a dedicated shop in Ryley, Alberta. His son, Morley, learned every aspect of the trade from his father. Jason Lusk began apprenticing in the shop while still in high school and today serves as our Master Harness Maker.

In 1996, George passed on to his eternal reward—God rest his soul—and Morley took the reins. With Morley’s more than 47 years of hands-on experience and Jason’s expert craftsmanship, every saddle, harness, and leather good we create honors George’s unwavering commitment to quality.
While Morley and Jason craft beautiful leather products, Morley's loving wife, Lorraine, supports their work by accounting, organization, and jumping into the production line whenever needed.
Today, Morley, Lorraine, and Jason continue the family tradition, handcrafting premium leather goods with the same dedication, expertise, and pride passed down through the generations.
